MARKETING INSIGHT
Introducing Continuous Scrolling

Browsing search results on Google Search is now more seamless and intuitive with the introduction of continuous scrolling on mobile.

REDSHIFT'S THOUGHTS:

Google recently announced that they were rolling out continuous scrolling for mobile searches. This means that when a user reaches the bottom of a search results page the next set of results automatically loads. While this update increases the visibility of searches ranked just below the top 10, ranking in the top 10 is still the most important for driving traffic through organic click

CLIENT CONNECTION
Aliner Boosts Engagement Through Social Media + Influencer Marketing

Aliner Social Media Boost Engagement

While many industries have taken a hit over the course of the pandemic, others have found an opportunity to connect with their customer base in the era of social distancing. The RV industry saw an unprecedented increase in activity over the course of the last year and a half, and Aliner was no exception. Partnering with two influencers aided in impressive stats for the travel trailer company beyond just doubling their social following. In the past year, Aliner has seen a 50% increase in site traffic via Instagram and a 600%+ increase in on-site conversions from social media.

Entrepreneur Insight

Over the years I’ve learned a few things which have helped me tremendously throughout my life and career. One of the most important lessons has been that no one can do it all. The knowledge and true understanding of that lesson is one of the primary reasons I created Digital Marketing Essentialism.

Trade-off: Which Problem Do We Want: Whether it be a new silver bullet marketing task someone told you to tackle or a conversation someone insists on having with you, you have to accept that you cannot do everything and that you have to accept trade-offs. The question should not be how do I do both, or how do I do everything, but rather, which items really matter to the success of this project. Trade-offs are not negative, they just are. Trade-offs are not something to be ignored or decried. They are something to be embraced and made deliberately, strategically and thoughtfully.
