Studies show that consumers no longer trust advertising like they used to. Instead, they turn to online reviews to determine whether your product or service is worth their money.
91% of Millennials and Gen Z consumers trust online reviews as much as, or more than, personal recommendations.
And it is no longer just about how many 5-star reviews your business receives. It is the number of reviews and how your company responds to negative and positive feedback. So what is a business to do?

While you can’t control when and if your customers will leave a review, you can try. Ask your customers to leave a review online by sending a follow-up email or asking at the time of purchase. And develop a plan to respond to your reviews. Appoint a specific staff member or team to be responsible for responding and commenting on your reviews — both positive and negative.

Are You playing with ChatGPT and DALL·E 2?
If not, here’s why you should be.
ChatGPT is a language-processing artificial intelligence (AI) model that will draft an original copy when provided with a text prompt. DALL·E 2 is also an AI model that can create original, realistic images from a text description.
Here at RedShift, we’ve been spending time each day familiarizing ourselves with these and some other new tools.
On top of that, we’ve been showing each other how we can best to utilize them to be more efficient in driving results for our partners. As we learn more about these incredible digital technologies that seem to be reshaping our landscape, it might be tempting to think about replacing roles or agencies (ahem). But don’t make any rash decisions just yet…
REDSHIFT'S THOUGHTS:
AI cannot replace a human (snarky copywriters live to see another day). Yes, these platforms can kick out some incredible content, but it’s still void of that personal touch that takes a first draft or initial concept to the next level. Our continued exposure and education with these tools will lead us to developing new ideas and new content that will ultimately result in new consumers for our partners.

Speaking of AI Tools ...
The team came together to have a group training session on ChatGPT and DALL·E 2. We interspersed a little fun as we brainstormed how to leverage these AI tools best.
We prompted ChatGPT to come up with a short story about Abby, RedShift’s COO and sandwich aficionado.
To our delight, ChatGPT penned the tale of Abby becoming the head of a sandwich smuggling ring in Pittsburgh. And, thanks to DALL·E 2, we have a mugshot of the alleged criminal.
